We’re delighted to announce that Paddy’s Kids Playgroup has returned each Monday morning at 9am in the Parish Meeting Room. The playgroup commenced on Monday 22nd August with an exciting theme of ‘Under The Sea’. Pre-schoolers had the opportunity to enjoy the ‘The Rainbow Fish’ book, and we engaged in arts and crafts making our own beautiful jellyfish. We coloured pictures of sea creatures and played with all the various toys, puzzles, blocks and more. The beautiful weather even let us take our adventures outside and we played on the school equipment and rode tricycles.
About Paddy’s Playgroup: The playgroup is run by our school and parent community with support from the Kuring-Gai Chase Catholic Parish, and will continue to run in the Parish Meeting Room at St. Patrick’s School each Monday morning. There is so much fun to have with story time, structured activities, craft and music. The children also have time for unstructured play where they can socialise and use their imagination while they play with their new friends.
Who can attend? If you have a pre-schooler (aged between 3 – 5 years), or a friend with a pre-schooler who may be interested, come along and join in our next session. Playgroup is free of charge and runs during the school term.
Term 3 themes are outlined below. Nothing is required from you, we will simply be aligning our story-time, crafts and other activities to these fun themes!
