National Child Protection Week – September 2022

Did you know that National Child Protection Week is the first week of September, and launches Safeguarding Month? This year National Child Protection Week is from 4-10 September. The theme for this year will continue to embrace the overarching message that ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go’ with a focus on shining a light on children growing up safe and supported.

This week we share with you some new information and activities for you to take part in and explore with your families.

Week Two

We encourage everyone to enter the Draw My Family Competition to have the chance to win a prize for your whole class.

Step 2. Take a photo of your completed artwork
Step 3. Parent/Guardian to upload photo to their Facebook page
Step 4. Tag drawing #2022safeguardingfamilies

We invite all families to continue to share their experiences of how you connect as a family in the form of a story, a video or a photo during Safeguarding Month of September.
