St Patrick’s were involved in raising awareness and money for farmers in NSW who are suffering from the effects of drought with other Catholic Schools through “A Fiver for a Farmer” Fundraiser.
The idea was started by student Jack Berne in Year 4 at St John the Baptist Freshwater Catholic School. Click here to see the details of where this wonderful initiative started from and to donate online to our farmers.
Last Monday, our students came dressed as a farmer and throughout the week the children are participating in activities that are based on farm life as part of the “A Fiver for a Farmer” program.
